    Instructions for use
    Set Up

    It is recommended to use regular triangle arrangement with the angular tip facing forward (for type A, the fixed leg is placed in front).Loose the tube lock, pull out the tube section by section from thick to thin as needed, open to the desired angle, and lock the tube lock. The head tripod is set up with two air levels in a 'T', indicating the level between the front leg and the right leg (—) and its vertical direction (I) respectively. Firstly, by adjusting the height of the front leg and the right leg, the bubble of the air level in the middle is centered so that the '-' side is horizontal. Then lock the front and right leg tube lock, adjust the length of the left leg so that the 'I' side bubble is centered, and complete the horizontal adjustment.

    Leveling fine adjustment

    A-type head tripod has a fine-tuned tube joint at the top of the left and right legs, providing + / -20 mm length adjustment tolerance for fine horizontal adjustment.

    Loosen the lower end of the tube lock and rotate the middle adjusting ring to fine adjust the length. After the adjustment, lock the tube tightly to eliminate the gap.

    (Note: Set the adjustable leg tube to the scale '0' at ordinary times, to facilitate the next operation.)

    Dynamic Equilibrium Setting

    Adjust the position of the base angle of the lens on the deck front and back to find the natural balance position and lock the lens.

    Adjust the main knob to rotate smoothly horizontally and make sure the camera lens can stay in any position.

    When the horizontal resistance is too large and the balance cannot be achieved, the small knob can be fine-tuned to increase the pitch damping until the balance is achieved.


    Function Switch 1

    The product is equipped with two-dimensional head and dynamic equilibrium function. With the damping adjustment of the main knob, it can achieve dynamic equilibrium or automatic horizontal return on about 4.5 kg. At the same time, if clock-wise rotate the small knob (need to loosen the locking ring), the pitch movement can be locked, but the horizontal rotation can still be realized (the sense of friction is tight), the locking ring can be tightened, and then the indexing shooting is enabled.

    Rotate the small knob counterclockwise until the ball is free to rotate, which means the panoramic mode has been switched to (remember to lock the locking ring at this time to prevent the assist knob from slipping).

    When it is necessary to change to a two-dimensional head again, firstly adjust the main knob to make the ball rotate smoothly, then put the ball in a horizontal state according to the horizontal engraving, screw into the small knob along the pointer, when there is a touch feeling, push the ball to do pitching action with a small amplitude until you feel the rebound and the rotation is limited. Continue to fine-tune the small knob to achieve smooth pitch and horizontal rotation of the ball without any gap, tighten the locking ring and turn it into a two-dimensional head mode

    Function Switch 2

    Replacement of Clearance compensation Cone

    Normally, the design life cycle of the clearance compensation cone is long enough. Once the clearance is sloped from side to side and cannot be compensated by rotating the small knob, the replacement of the compensation cone can be considered (the green part shown, 3 free with the product).

    1. Unscrew 3/8 'spiral hole reducing sleeve (not available in K80-1 type)

    2. Unscrew the middle locking screw of central compensation cone sleeve at the bottom of head tripod deck (K2 series products with small hooks)

    3. Unscrew the compensation cone, pull out the white cone sleeve (shown as green) and replace it with a new cone sleeve

    4. Screw in the compensation cone to the correct position and tighten the locking screw (K2 series products with lifting hook)
